Amber Cove is a modern terminal built for a comfortable in-port experience even without leaving the complex. It combines leisure areas, shopping, food options, and organized departures for adventure and nature excursions around Puerto Plata.

Location & access

From Amber Cove you get strong access to mountain, beach, and city experiences. Downtown access takes longer than from Taino Bay, but it works very well for half-day or full-day organized tours.

Recommended transport

To optimize your time, pre-booked tours with terminal pickup or official taxis are best. On multi-ship days, leaving early helps avoid traffic bottlenecks near main roads.
